Google cancels Pixel XL 2 model in favor of the “Taimen”

We have been hearing for quite sometime now about Google’s 3 new Pixel phones the alleged Pixel 2, Pixel XL 2 and a massive Google Taimen model. New reports coming directly from the US insist that the Pixel XL 2 model has been cancelled by the company, in favour of the even bigger “Taimen”.

This means that Google will focus on the Pixel 2 model and a larger one in order to be competitive enough when compared to Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus flagship models. In case you don’t remember, Google isn’t a newcomer in terms of huge smartphones. Take the Nexus 6P for example with its 5.7 inch display and the Nexus 6 with an even bigger 6 inch display.

No one knows yet how large this Google Taimen model will be, but if we take into account that the “cancelled” Pixel XL 2 had a 5.5 inch display, then it will boast a much larger screener with approximately 6 inches or more.
