Smartphone manufacturing is not really the stronghold of Google which specializes in Internet-related services and products. Its operating system, Android, is the worlds most popular OS and presently, the company is trying to build smartphones which can have similar acceptance like Android. Presently, the American company is working on two smartphones, Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2XL which will hit the market soon.
In terms of appearance, Google Pixel 2 XL is closely affiliated with LG V30. However, its colleague, Pixel 2 seem to be having a new design. A leaked image of the protecting screen covers for the new Pixel models reveals that the motivation for the Pixel 2 is quite old. The top and bottom bezels are astonishingly large and at the time when every manufacturers’ dream is to unleash a bezel-less edge-to-edge display smartphone, this might not be a good idea except Google has other plans that we don’t know yet.

On October 4th, Google will unveil two of its new smartphones, the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2XL which is produced by HTC and LG respectively. Google has vigorously promoted these smartphones over the last few weeks and it is expected that all the questions from Google’s previous models (Pixel and Pixel XL) will be answered during the launch.
The Pixel 2XL has the expected 2017 bezel pattern and it should get the attention it deserves. The authenticity of these leaks cannot be verified thus it is possible that we are looking at a frivolous leak. October 4th is just a few days from now thus it is only a matter of time before we find out what the Pixel 2 has for us.
