The Chinese tech giant is rumoured to be working on the Xiaomi Mi6C, a cheaper variant of the Mi6. Also debuting with the device will be the Surge S2, Xiaomi’s in house developed chipset, if rumors are to be believed.
The Xiaomi Mi5C was launched earlier this year, making it the first phone to sport the Surge S1 chipset. There have been rumors floating around regarding the specs of the Surge S2, claiming that it’ll be a 10nm chipset, whereas some reports state that it’ll be a mid range chipset sporting four cores of Cortex A73 clocked at 2.2GHz and four cores of Cortex A53 clocked at 1.8GHz.
There is not much information regarding the Xiaomi Mi6C, but certain reports hint towards a full screen device with a display size of 5.65-inches and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is expected to sport specs similar to the Mi6, sporting a dual camera setup on the back. From what has been observed, the Mi6C will be priced lower than the Mi6.
