Not long ago we found out that BlackBerry is working on a new phone but it seems that the company will not restrict itself to a single phone this year. A second model has been spotted in the EaeUnion database. EaeUnion is the executive body of the Eurasian Economic Union where telephones are inspected before they are admitted to the member countries. The phone bears the model number BBE100-1 and was published yesterday on the website of the EaeUnion. Also included in the publication is the discovered BBF100-1. Both models have been tested under the name of TCL, the manufacturer of the current BlackBerry devices.

Second Model
After BBD100-1 was released last year, the first model for 2018, BBF100-1 surfaced online recently. This scenario raised concerns that BlackBerry had skipped the BBE100-1 model. However, that is not the case because it has finally made its appearance. At this moment, not much is known about the BBE100-1. Since the entry in the database does not provide information about the specifications, we only know at the moment that BlackBerry is working on two new phones. The company’s latest phone – BlackBerry Motion came with model number BBD100-1 (released last year) thus BBE100-1 and BBF100-1 which are currently making the rounds online are its 2018 models.

The new phone with the model number BBF100-1 has a QWERTY keyboard and a display with 1620 x 1080 resolution. The BlackBerry KeyOne from last year has the same resolution with a 4.5-inch display. The Snapdragon 660 chipset will be present under the bonnet of the BBF100-1. This is an octa-core processor with eight ARM Cortex A53 cores of which four cores has a speed of 2.2 GHz and four-piston cores at 1.8 GHz. If we look at the resolution, aspect ratio and the QWERTY keyboard, it seems that the BBF100-1 will be the successor of the KeyOne.
At the moment nothing is known about the real names of the new phones. In the coming weeks, we will undoubtedly hear more about the devices. Last year the KeyOne was presented during the Mobile World Congress. The new models may be presented during the same event this year.
