MGCOOL are back just after a brief Christmas and New Year resting period, the Chinese manufacturer of action cameras, wearables and accessories has announced the roadmap for 2018.
The first product they’ll be launching is the next-generation MGCOOL Band 5, which is expected to ship with several new features in addition to those already available on previous MGCOOL Bands such as automatic heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, pedometer, calorie and much more.
What will set the MGCOOL Band 5 apart from other bands will probably be the 0.96-
inch color display with the ability to change the wallpaper. Previously, in the Band 4 we had the same display size but without colors.

Color screens are actually hard to find on cheaper smart bands and you’ll usually only find them in premium smartwatches. However, MGCOOL has gone one step ahead by
providing a color OLED display at a budget price. Moreover, the upcoming
MGCOOL Band 5 will be featuring a metal finish to provide a more premium look.
The company source reveals that the Band 5 will be available by the end of
January 2018.
