Vivo’s V9, scheduled to launch in a week, has now been listed on Vivo’s Indian website. This listing clearly is an official leak of all the specs of the handset. Much has already been known of the design of the phone. A genuine retail box popped up yesterday as well hinting at the specs of the device. But nothing can compare to an official leak. And that’s what Vivo has given us.
As per the listing, the Vivo V9 will be driven by a Snapdragon 626 chip. Earlier, it was thought to be powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor, however, Vivo has opted for a less-attractive Snapdragon 626 SoC. The listing shows a 4GB + 64GB variant on the portal.
As for optics, the handset houses a dual rear camera with a 16MP + 5MP combo. The front houses a 24MP selfie shooter, which has been rumoured earlier as well. The Vivo V9 has a huge 6.3-inch IPS display with Full-HD+ resolution. Battery rumours were more or less correct with the official listing mentioning a 3,260mAh battery.
The listing also mentions some highlighted features like Face Unlock, AR stickers, AI beauty mode, and a triple card slot. Further, the Vivo V9 will come with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box topped with FunTouch OS.
