Leaked: Vivo Y71 Specifications, Renders and Launch Date

About two weeks ago, the Vivo Y71 passed by TENAA. The listing revealed some core specs of the smartphone but not much light was shed on the design. REnders of the Y71 have appeared to give us a look at the upcoming smartphone. Judging from the specs and its looks, the Y71 will be a mid-range smartphone.

Pictured is a sleek device with barely any width. The reported dimensions are 155.87 x 75.74 x 7.8 mm and weight is 150g. The Vivo Y71 appears to have a full-screen display which is pegged to be a 5.99-inch 1440 x 720p panel. Judging from the antenna lines on the back, the body is probably made of aluminum. The front sports neither any physical or capacitive buttons nor a fingerprint scanner. There might be an under-display scanner, but that is highly unlikely since the phone is aimed at the affordable to mid-range market. Vivo might be skipping the fingerprint scanner on this one altogether. What its not skipping is the 3.5mm headphone jack that sits on the left of the micro-USB charging port.

Gizchina News of the week

It is reported to feature the Snapdragon 425 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard memory. 13MP and 5MP cameras are said to adorn the Vivo Y71 on the back and the front respectively. It is expected to be powered by a 3285mAh battery and Android 8.1. The speculated date of launch is 5th of April and the price is 1098 Yuan.
