Galaxy note 9

Finally, it is almost now certain the Galaxy Note 9 will be launched on August 9, as Samsung has officially sent out invites for its next Unpacked event scheduled for August 9 in New York City, where it is expected to unleash its Galaxy Note 9 phablet.

The Galaxy Note 9  special unpacked event will take place in New York and will be streamed live on Samsung.com.

We already have a pretty good idea what the device will bring to the table, all thanks to a plethora of leaks and rumors. It has been rumored over and over again that the Galaxy Note 9 wont bring any major change in design, neither will it include any compelling new features, instead, the device is expected to carry over most of the specs of the Galaxy S9+.

Gizchina News of the week

Perhaps the most disappointing news is that the Note 9 may not get the under screen fingerprint reader, instead, the device might carry over the Note 8 style fingerprint scanner. The device is tipped to come with the homemade Exynos 9810 Octa for some regions, while the US and China will get the Snapdragon 845 as usual. The Note 9 is tipped to get additional stylus functionality, while some other reports have it that it might get a variant with as much as 512GB  storage space.

Note, that these are mere speculations, official specs of the Galaxy Note 9 will be made available at the launch event in New York on August 9.
