Samsung Galaxy S8

South Korean manufacturing giant, Samsung, is gearing up to unveil its new flagship smartphone, Galaxy S10. This smartphone is expected to arrive early next year but its arrival is already having some impact on pre-existing devices. The Samsung Galaxy S8 was released in March 2017 and at the time, the US version came with a $720 price tag. However, recent reports now suggest that last year’s Galaxy S8 has taken a serious nosedive in terms of pricing. This smartphone is now worth only $350, less than half of its launch price but don’t get too excited, it’s only the T-mobile version of this device that has this price tag.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a full-screen curved screen and a bezel-less display design. The entire body of this smartphone is designed with a Corning Gorilla glass 5 and it lacks the iconic Home button which increases the screen ratio to 84%. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is equipped with a 5.8-inch screen with a resolution of 2960 × 1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. It is powered by a Snapdragon 835 chip coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Its lights are kept on by a 3000 mAh battery. For over half its original price, this 2017 Samsung flagship might just be worth the chase.
