On April this year, Asus has launched its budget Android smartphone Zenfone Max Pro M1 and now the company is preparing to launch its successor the Zenfone Max Pro 2 (M2) soon.

According to the latest tweet of the well-known leaker Roland Quandt, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro 2 could be launched soon. Roland has claimed that there will be two variants of the phone ZB634KL and ZB631KL and they will have triple rear camera setup. Unfortunately, no specifics have been provided about the functionality of each sensor, but the main one is said to sport a 13-megapixel resolution.

The ZenFone Max Pro (M2) is expected to come with a 6-inch display with Full-HD+ resolution, which points towards an 18:9 aspect ratio.
The phone will be equipped by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. Furthermore, the choice of 64GB or 128GB of internal storage will be available.

If talking about the most affordable and budget smartphones in the category of Triple Camera Setup, Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) comes in. Its 4 GB + 64 GB storage variant is priced at about ($320). We expect the Asus phone to be cheaper.

The company hasn’t yet confirmed when the announcement will take place, but it is expected that the launch may not take place until early 2019.
