Netizens angered by sluggish stocking of Lenovo Z5 Pro

Earlier today, the second official sale of Lenovo’s flagship, Lenovo Z5 Pro took place and like the first sale, all units sold out with the speed of light. Although the company did not state the actual number of units sold, it appears that this smartphone is more popular than we think. Some netizens found that Lenovo Z5 Pro sold at Jingdong, Taobao, and other stores did not last for a minute and they called on Lenovo’s VP to provide answers. The vice president of Lenovo Group responded: “we are stepping up the stocking of the Lenovo Z5 Pro”. Apparently, the company underestimated the popularity of this smartphone.

Nevertheless, some netizens still believe that Lenovo is making the stocks sluggish on purpose to inflate the price of the device. Jingdong Mall shows that the next round of Lenovo Z5 Pro sale is 10:00 on November 22. The price of the 6GB+64GB version is 1998 yuan ($288) while the 6GB+128GB will sell for 2298 yuan ($331).

This smartphone uses a 6.39-inch Samsung AMOLED notchless full-screen display with a screen-to-body ratio of 95.06%and an aspect ratio is 19.5:9. As of now, it has the highest screen-to-body ratio in the industry. Also, the Lenovo Z5 Pro is equipped with the fifth-generation photoelectric on-screen fingerprint sensor which greatly improves the accuracy of fingerprint recognition. This smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 710 processor and it uses a slide-screen design. It has a 24MP+16MP dual rear camera setup and its lights are kept on by a 3350 mAh battery.
