Today, Xiaomi mobile phone product marketing director, Qi Zhiyuan, said that the latest development system of the Xiaomi Mi 8 series and MIX 2S has added 960 frames slow motion video. This function was first implemented on the Xiaomi Mi MIX  and since the camera department of these phones only has software differences, Lei Jun promised that the company is working to upgrade the Xiaomi Mi 8 and Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S to the Mi MIX 3 standard. On the 960-frame movie-like slow-motion video, the AI can accurately analyze the video content and intelligently match the background sound.

Both the Xiaomi Mi 8 and Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S uses the same dual camera module: a 12MP wide-angle + 12MP telephoto dual rear camera. The 12MP wide-angle lens is a Sony IMX363 with a unit pixel area of 1.4μm and it support Dual PD dual-core focus and four-axis Optical image stabilization.

At the same time, it supports AI scene recognition, intelligently recognizes 206 kinds of camera scenes, optimizes the adjustment in real time, and even shoots PPT with super-resolution which gives a clear and sharp content.
