If past years are any indication, smartphones from both Chinese an international OEMs won’t be a major focus of the show, probably because industry leaders like Huawei, Sony, LG, and ZTE do reserve their major launches for WMC or the IFA conference holding later in Barcelona and Berlin.

That notwithstanding a few OEMs and the likes of Samsung and Huawei do use the event as a launch pad for some of their phone – mostly the entry-level to mid-range phone. At this years CES to be held from January 8-12, TCL Communication has announced that it will be present at the show.
