Honor View 20’s first update brings January security patches and other new features

Honor team has kicked off the first software update for one of the most interesting smartphones among those launched in the recent months, we are talking about Honor View20.

The update in question brings with it the Android security patches for the month of January and implements the 48MP AI Ultra Clarity feature for the super camera the smartphone has.

The update include improvements to the stability and the overall performance of the View20 and the addition of new themes to choose from to customize the user interface of the device.

The update, which weighs 342 MB and brings the Magic UI to version 2.0.1 (software v. 9.0.1.128), may also take several days before reaching all the markets where the smartphone is available.

The device is without a doubt the first true flagship device of the year that boasts of some few selling points – including a 48-megapixel rear camera, a hole-punch display that is gradually proving to be the antidotes to the iPhone X-esque notch, and a time-of-flight (TOF) sensor which can help map 3D objects in the real world.
