OnePlus 7 official launch date confirmed for May 14 in 4 cities

The rumors are true. OnePlus has now officially revealed the launch date of its next flagship killer - the OnePlus 7. The company CEO in a forum post revealed that the Oneplus 7 series launch event will indeed hold on May 14 as rumored. The event much like last year's event is taking place in New York at Pier 94 and will commence at 11 am EDT.

A simultaneous event is also billed to take place in London, UK and Bangalore, and India at 4 pm BST and 8:15 pm IST, respectively; while the same Oneplus 7 will be announced for China on May 16 at Yanqi Lake, Beijing at 2 pm PST. For those that would like to be present live, tickets will be available for sale from April 25, though early bird tickets for the EU event is already available, while tickets for the US event will be available starting April 25 at 11 am for 48 hours at a discounted price of $20, with the Standard and Plus One ticket going on sale afterward.

Just as rumors already pointed out, the firm's CEO earlier today confirmed the existence of a Oneplus 7 Pro variant that will supposedly feature an all-screen design with an industry first display that will perhaps have an OLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate.
