Today, Xiaomi’s official flagship store announced that the Mijia smart air conditioner will be sold at 10 am on May 6. The Xiaomi Mijia smart air conditionerĀ was released on April 23 and it is the first vertical air conditioner from Xiaomi. This product comes with a 2999 yuan ($445) starting price.

The Xiaomi Mijia smart air conditioner adopts a cylindrical design, has 2 cooling modes and a 1100m3/h circulating air volume. It is suitable for a 20 – 32 m2 room, supports up/down/left and right wind sweep, as well as stereo air supply, which ensures that it reaches all corners of the room very quickly. Furthermore, the Xioami Mijia smart air conditioner comes with a 5100W rated cooling capacity, 8 meters long distance air supply, 5650W rated heating capacity, and a 2100W ceramic PTC electric auxiliary heating capacity.Ā It also has a built-in Xiaomi IoT chip, which supports the Mijia APP interconnection. All operations of this air conditioner can be done via the Mijia app.
The remote control of this product has three sections. The display section, the main function area, and the auxiliary function area. These different sections are properly partitioned and the buttons have different designs (concave and convex) which makes the operability much easier.
