Recently there are several companies that are updating their smartphones with a feature known as DC Dimming. And among these is also added Huawei which has confirmed in recent hours that it will soon implement this system on its two latest gems: Huawei P30 and P30 Pro.
But let’s take a step back a moment, for those who have never heard of it, DC Dimming means the function that is able to automatically regulate how much current reaches the display within a certain percentage. This allows you to monitor the heat produced by your smartphone, avoid the classic flickering of OLED screens (caused by the flashing of the normally used PWM mode) and also reduce eye fatigue accordingly.
In short, after the recent announcement of an upcoming update enriched with this function for Xiaomi Mi 8 and Mi MIX 3, even the new Huawei P30 and P30 Pro will soon be armed with a new update, at least according to what Mukul Sharma reported in a post he shared on his Twitter profile.
Confirmed. Huawei P30/P30 Pro will soon start receiving a new update which packs in DC Dimming. Turns out that this is the new talk of the town as of late.#Huawei #HuaweiP30 #HuaweiP30Pro #DCDimming pic.twitter.com/1ZCc6HmXZ2

It is still early to talk about timing and dissemination, but apparently, the release should not be that far away.
It is worth to mention that in Q1 2019, the Chinese multinational has increased its sales by 44.5% and maintained its second position in the standings further reducing the gap that separates it from the top occupied by Samsung, results obtained thanks to the excellent performance in Europe (+69 %) and in the home market (+ 33%).
