The standard Redmi K100 is moving closer to launch. A Xiaomi phone with model number M786BC passed 3C certification in China on October 12. The listing confirms 100W wired charging. Tipster Digital Chat Station says it is the standard Redmi K100. The listing shows nothing else about the phone.

What the Listing Confirms

3C is a mandatory Chinese approval, and it usually reveals only a model number and a charging speed. Here it confirms 100W wired charging. It does not show the battery size, chip, display or cameras. Xiaomi has not commented on the listing.

Where This Phone Fits in the Series

Part of the Redmi K100 family is already on sale. Xiaomi launched the K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max in China on August 11, and both support 100W charging. At that launch, Xiaomi’s China marketing chief Wei Siqi said the series would also get a standard model and a gaming flagship. M786BC appears to be the standard model. The gaming version is still to come. A tipster says it will arrive next year as the K100 Ultra with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip.

What Is Still Rumor

An earlier leak claims a battery above 10,000mAh, a 1.5K display and IP68 protection. It describes the phone as a Redmi K90 Ultra without the built-in cooling fan. Another claim mentions a 185Hz screen and Bose tuning. Xiaomi has not confirmed any of this, and the 3C listing does not show whether the K100 shares the K90 Ultra’s hardware. A 10,000mAh battery would be the largest Xiaomi has put in a phone, so it deserves caution until Xiaomi shows the number. Xiaomi president Lu Weibing said many flagships this year would use previous-generation chips, such as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Dimensity 9500, and that he expects the K100 series to be the best value. That hints at a lower price, but he did not name the chip.

Will It Come Outside China?

Xiaomi has not confirmed a global launch, and the certification covers China only. XimiTime notes the phone may stay exclusive to China. In past years, Redmi K phones often reached other markets under the POCO brand, but Xiaomi has made no such announcement here. No launch date or price has been announced. Until Xiaomi shares more, the 100W figure is the only solid fact we have right now.
