CHUWI MiniBook reaches over $190k in just the first day of crowdfunding

CHUWI MiniBook

The new pocket laptop CHUWI MiniBook hit the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform just yesterday and the makers announced that the first day has been actually pretty impressive. The Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign so far managed to reach over $220.000 mark, so in fact exceeded expectations. That’s pretty good start and hopefully will keep the momentum going forward. So what can the tiny laptop offer to the customers ?

Gizchina News of the week

CHUWI MiniBook will be sporting just an 8-inch IPS touchscreen, but it will be fully adjustable with 360-degree rotation similar to the YOGA models so will be usable in both laptop/tablet mode. Inside we will find the latest Intel Core M3-8100Y / Celeron N4100 processor supported by 8 GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128 GB eMMC memory, but with a free M.2 SSD NVMe slot it would be a shame to keep it empty. And despite the tiny size the makers managed to force in ultra-narrow border full sized keyboard. The battery will be also pretty impressive with 26,6Wh capacity and charging through fully functional USB Type-C port will be fast with PD 2.0 fast charging.

You can still catch some interesting Early Bird promos with about 20% off from the retail pricing so it’s surely a good idea to check the Indiegogo website for more information. Both the Core M3-8100Y / Celeron N4100 are already available and the expected shipping is set for September 2019.
