Xiaomi is preparing its new Android One smartphone. After the very good Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite, the Mi A3 would benefit from a 48MP camera sensor according to a new listing of the FCC.
The Xiaomi Mi A2 and Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite had made the happiness of those who love the good quality and the prices proposed by Xiaomi, but not the MIUI interface. This latter still always a bit difficult to apprehend for pure Android fans. So they are part of the label Android One, which guarantees a no-frills Android interface.
We are in July now and it is time to offer them a new version. The Xiaomi Mi A3 appeared in the FCC listings, confirming an important feature.

Also, note that there is no space provided for the fingerprint reader at the back. It could be up front, but some reports suggest that it would be integrated under the screen this year.
In addition, these features and the scheme are particularly reminiscent of the Xiaomi CC9 announced last week in China. Some rumors also mentioned the possibility that the Chinese smartphone is launched elsewhere in the world with the Android One label. Being equipped with a sleek version of Android under the name of Xiaomi Mi A3. That seems to be confirmed with this new information, both for the photosensor and the fingerprint reader.
Recall that Xiaomi’s Mi CC 9e serves up a Snapdragon 665 chipset. Alongside with a 32MP selfie camera in a waterdrop notch, 4GB or 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. It has a 4,000mAh battery and a triple rear shooter consisting of a 48MP rear camera, 8MP ultra-wide snapper, and 2MP depth sensor. And yes, the phone indeed sports an in-display fingerprint sensor along with a 6-inch 720p OLED screen.
