The 2017 flagship debuted with Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and today is receiving the stable release that updates it to Android 9 Pie.

That was quite a run for the handset released back in 2017. Now, we could say that this might be the end of the road for the Mi 6. Despite this, Xiaomi should keep up and update it to MIUI 11 and even MIUI 12 in the future no matter the Android version.
