Oppo is working on noise reduction neck-mounted headphones and smartwatches


This afternoon, OPPO Vice President, Shen Yiren, unveiled some of the company’s plans via his official Weibo handle. According to him, Oppo is currently working on a noise reduction neck-mounted headphones. Although he did not give a release date for the headphone, he said that the company will strive to release smartwatches next year. This seems to suggest that the headphones will arrive before the end of the year.

According to Shen Yiren, the probability of this year’s launch for the smartwatch is extremely low. He said: “I hope to send it to you by next year”. In addition, he also gave an insight into the features of the smartwatch. Mr. Shen said that although the circle looks good in line with the traditional displays, the screen utilization efficiency (information presentation) is indeed lower than the rectangular dial. It is understood that in the second half of 2019, Oppo’s will release some new products. Previously we saw an exposure of the OPPO A9s smartphone which comes with a Snapdragon 665 processor. Furthermore, the company is also getting ready to release the Oppo Reno new version in India.
