According to the reliable leakster Ishan Agarwal, Google Nest Hub will be making its way to the Indian market by as soon as next week. Coming to the Indian pricing, the Nest Hub will set you back by INR 8,999 in the country. It is worth mentioning that the alleged Indian pricing is quite close to the Nest Hub’s current price tag of USD 129. For those who’re unaware,  the Smart Display recently got a price cut from the original price tag of USD 149. Considering this price tag, the product will directly compete with Amazon’s Echo Show 5. The latter comes with a much smaller 5.5-inch display but with a front-facing camera.

To recall, Google Nest Hub comes with a 7-inch touchscreen display powered by the company’s very own Assistant. The Smart Display features a fabric-covered base and thick bezels on the side of the screen. Just like various other Google Home products, this one too comes in different colour options namely Chalk, Mint, Pink and Charcoal. The product supports different Google services such as Search, Photos and Maps optimized to offer impressive user experience. You can fire up the Assistant using two hot keywords – ‘Hey Google’ and ‘Ok Google’.

Since the device has no front camera, you can’t use the Nest Hub for the Google Duo calls which might be a deal-breaker for many. One of the key highlights of the device is its Home View feature which acts as a dashboard for all your smart devices. You can even use the Nest Hub as an entertainment centre. This means that you can watch YouTube and YouTube TV on the display. Sadly, the content is currently limited to Google services only. Other specifications include dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth and full-range speaker.
