Vivo has applied for five new trademarks belonging to the NEX line in the EUIPO a couple of days back, as found by Nashville Chatter. Actually, there are in total six monikers – Vivo NEX Pro,Ā Vivo NEX Neo,Ā Vivo NEX Lite,Ā Vivo iQOO Lite,Ā VivoX ProĀ andĀ VivoX Lite. The new filing gives us an interesting insight into the NEX line’s future. It also seems that Vivo might have more than one models of the current NEX 3 5G and that it could launch in the European markets. Vivo had previously applied for more NEX monikers . These includeĀ Vivo NEX V,Ā NEX X,Ā NEX Y,Ā NEX ZĀ andĀ NEX Play.

There’s also mention of an iQOO Lite trademark which was supposedly the other name for the recently released Vivo iQOO Youth Edition. Vivo NEX Pro and Vivo NEX Neo could be the successors of NEX 3 released recently or a separate line in the NEX series considering there’s no number “3” in them.
As for the VivoX Pro and VivoX Lite, these are completely new monikers for the company but these might be for the future as well. The company also has several X, Y, and Z series phones but these trademarks don’t necessarily mean there will be phones in the near future. Vivo might launch a handset with that badge or might not.
