Recently, LinkedIn released a list of the fastest-growing jobs in the US. And in this list, the artificial intelligence experts rank first. As the company says, this is based on the growth rate of professions. It looked at all its members with a public profile that has held full-time positions within the past five years. Then, LinkedIn calculated the share of hiring and growth rate for each occupation between 2015 and 2019. As a result, it could identify which roles would be on the rise in the coming year.
According to LinkedIn’s 2020 Emerging Job Report, more than half of the top 15 emerging career growth rates in the United States are related to information engineering. As said, the artificial intelligence experts rank first. LinkedIn said that with the development of the computer software, internet, and information technology industries, the artificial intelligence professional career has grown by 74% annually over the past five years. Moreover, the specialists in this field get an average annual salary of $136,000.
More specific professions, such as robot engineers rank second. They have a growth rate of 40% and an average annual salary of $85,000. Data scientists rank third, with a growth rate of 37% and an average annual salary of $143,000.
