According to Huawei’s official news, the Huawei MateBook 13/14 2020 models will start pre-sale on February 3. Moreover, they will officially go on sale on February 7. Both models will sport the tenth-gen Intel Core chips, 16GB dual-channel large memory, MX250 discrete graphics full blood edition, and also 2K touchscreen with a borderless design.

Apart from the 10th generation of the Intel Core chip, the Huawei MateBook 13 will sport a high-precision multi-touch screen based on the classic 2K full-screen design. The company claims this is the only 2K full-touch screen product in the same price range of 13-inch notebooks.
The Huawei MateBook 13 2020 2K touch full-screen has up to 88% screen ratio, screen resolution of 2160 * 1440, 100% sRGB wide color gamut, contrast ratio of up to 1000:1, and pixel density of 200PPI. The Huawei MateBook 13 2020 still maintains Huawei’s classic 3:2 screen ratio.

The new MateBook products will use Intel’s 10th generation Core processors. They adopt a quad-core and eight-thread design. The overall performance has been greatly improved compared to the previous generation Core 8 products. As the company officially claims, the Huawei MateBook 14 is the only notebook product with a 2K touch full screen at the price of 6000 yuan ($865). The screen size is 14 inches and it is equipped with a 56Wh large battery. This version provides local 1080P video playback for 14.7 hours. As for normal use, it can last for up to 13.6 hours. In terms of charging, the Huawei MateBook 14 has a 65W fast-charging USB-C interface portable adapter, weighing only 160g. It can be used for multiple purposes. Plus, charging for 15 minutes will provide 3 hours of battery life.
As for configuration, the Huawei MateBook 14 will sport the latest Intel 10th generation Core processor. The rest of the features include a 16GB dual-channel large memory, a high-performance PCIe NVMe high-speed solid-state hard drive, and the MX250 graphics card (TDP 25W) full blood version with a 2GB GDDR5 independent video memory.
