Realme 6 goes on sale for the first time

Realme announced the Realme 6 Series and Realme Band last week at an online-only event in India. And now, the Realme 6 with MediaTek Helio G90T and 90Hz refresh display is on sale for the very first time at a starting price of INR 12,999 ($175 roughly) on the Realme Online Store and Flipkart with interesting cashback offers. As of this writing, the flash sale is still live.

The Realm 6 is the brandā€™s most ambitious smartphone till date bringing the 90Hz refresh display to the masses. It also features one of the most powerful and underrated chipset MediaTek Helio G90T, which also happens to power the Redmi Note 8 Pro from last year. On the front, the phone comes fitted with a 6.5-inches FHD+ 90Hz refresh rate IPS LCD panel with a punch-hole for a 16MP selfie camera.

Whereas, the rear of the device looks similar to any other Realme device launched in recent months with the same vertical quad-camera array placement but features a different gradient pattern to distinguish it. The camera sensors include a 64MP Samsung GW1, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP Monochrome portrait sensor.

Other features of the Realme 6 includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Gorilla Glass 3 protection (only display), up to 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM, dedicated microSD card support, Realme UI based on Android 10, 4,300 mAh battery, and 30W fast charging.

Realme 6 Prices and Launch Offers

As far as price is concerned, the Realme 6 retails for INR 12,999 ($175), INR 14,999 ($205), and INR 15,999 ($220) for 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB respectively. As part of the launch offer, customers can avail flat INR 750 cashback on all the variants while paying through ICICI credit card. The company had also introduced an early access sale for the Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro smartphones to pre-book the devices before the launch date by making a payment of Rs 3,000 in advance.
