Huawei P40 series price in Europe exposed – its pricey

Today, a Greek website in an exclusive report exposed the prices of the Huawei P40 series in Greece. According to the report, this smartphone will arrive in the country in April. However, we all know that the P40 series will touch down on March 26. The report shows that this series has four smartphones. They include Huawei P40 Pro, Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Lite, and P40 lite E. In addition, it also revealed the price of the Mate Xs in Greece.

• P40 Pro 256GB – €1,139 ($1,272)
• P40 128GB price – €849 ($948)
• P40 Lite price – €329 ($367)
• P40 lite E price – €199 ($222)

• Huawei Mate XS 512GB – €2,499 ($2,790)

The Huawei P40 series is a bit pricey for smartphones that will not use Google services. This means that these devices won’t have access t apps like Gmail, Maps, YouTube, Photos, Chrome, etc. Although Huawei’s AppGallery is the company’s solution for now, it lacks a lot of necessary apps. 

Huawei is currently trying to attract developers to design apps for its AppGallery. In fact, it currently has a lot of incentives for the development of Huawei Mobile Services (HMS). There are reports that popular apps such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter will soon be added to AppGallery. According to Huawei CEO, Richard Yu, the company will do much more to make its phone attractive. However, is this the right time to get an Android smartphone without Google Play Store?

As of now, Huawei has a couple of smartphones in the market without GMS. The Huawei Mate 30 series is currently on sale in Europe without GMS.

Obviously, Huawei mobile phones in Europe will generally be more expensive than in China. However, there is no official confirmation of the prices from the Greek website.
