Samsung Galaxy Note 20 would have a flat-screen at only Full HD 60Hz

It is expected that Samsung will introduce a new line of Samsung Galaxy Note 20 smartphones in August this year, with the younger version being much inferior in characteristics to the Samsung Galaxy Note 20+.

The well-known insider Ice Universe claims that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 will get a flat screen with fairly noticeable frames in Full HD resolution, as well as a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Given that the Samsung Galaxy S20 uses a screen with a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz, this step from Samsung will raise many questions. On the one hand, this may turn out to be an attempt to release an affordable version of the smartphone, and on the other hand, this way Samsung can push customers to purchase the more expensive model.

I think its comprehensive specifications are even lower than Note10, at least Note10 is still curved screen and narrow bezel.

Ice Universe also added that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 in its characteristics will be closer to the model, which should be called Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Lite. He noted that in general, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 will be inferior even to last year’s Samsung Galaxy Note 10, which had a curved screen with narrower frames.

I don't know what you think. For me, I can't accept any 60Hz mobile phone. It will cause me serious discomfort.

The Samsung Unpacked event will take place online, and we also expect the presentation of the foldable Galaxy Fold 2, Z Flip 5G smartphones and, possibly, the Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatch.

Ice Universe has repeatedly been the first to provide reliable information about upcoming Samsung smartphones. He predicted the announcement of the Samsung ISOCELL GN1 image sensor, which was introduced a few days after that. He also predicted the appearance on the market of Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha with a girdle screen.
