Huawei has been teasing the launch of its Huawei Freebuds 3i TWS in India for quite some time. Now, the company has finally made them official in the Indian stronghold with a price tag of INR 9,990. That’s around $135 or €115. The company is offering its true-wireless earphones in Carbon Black and Ceramic White colors. They will be sold in India through the e-commerce giant Amazon.in starting August 6, 2020. The company will be giving a Huawei Band 4 for those who purchase the Freebuds 3i. It’s a free gift worth INR 1,999 (~$27). This offer will be exclusively available for Amazon Prime members on August 6 and 7. It will open to all other costumers until August 12.

The Freebuds 3i shines with a beautiful design but that is limited to two color options – Black and White. The hearables come with silicone tips of four different sizes to offer a comfortable fit and better seal. Each bud features a 3-mi system including two microphones on the outer side and one on the inside. The 3i boasts 10mm dynamic drivers and it offers support for touch controls.

You can perform the double-tap action to play/pause music or even answer/end calls. The Long tap will quickly enable or disable active noise cancellation. Yeah, unlike many other premium offers in the segment that lacks ANC, the Freebuds 3i are equipped with this feature. According to Huawei, this ANC can reduce the noise level by up to 32 dB.

The hearables have outward-facing mics that pick your voice while the single microphone on the inner side. It receives the voice conducted inside your ears to enhance call quality. The Freebuds 3i comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and each weighs 5.5g. It packs a 37mAh battery offering up to 3.5 hours of playback on a single charge. When you pair it with the charging case, it draws power through a USB-C port, and lights are kept on by a 410mAh battery. According to Huawei, it provides up to 14.5 hours of playback.

The Freebuds 3i is Huawei’s attempt to conquer the market of truly wireless earbuds in India. Worth noting that this particular segment under the wearable category is the only one bypassing the effects of COVID-19 pandemic. The Freebuds 3i will compete directly with OnePlus recently released Buds and other products in this category, including India’s local Noise.
