Huawei Enjoy 20 and Enjoy 20 Plus Officially Released In China

Today, Huawei released two new models for the Chinese market mainly. The Huawei Enjoy 20 and Enjiy 20 Plus are the next smartphones in this series after the Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro’s launch in June 2020.

Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus Biggest Highlights

The Huawei Enjoy 20 series smartphones are mainly for young users. The front of Enjoy 20 Plus carries a 6.63-inch full-view screen that supports 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. For a full-screen visual effect, the Enjoy 20 Plus uses a 16-megapixel pop-up lens, which Huawei calls a floating lens. The back design of the machine is closer to the Mate 30 series, inheriting the classic design of the ‘Halo’ ring.

There are four color options you can choose from – Galaxy Silver, Emerald Green, Cherry Snow Clear Sky, and Magic Night Black. The fingerprint recognition module of the Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus is placed on the side.

As for configuration, the Enjoy 20 Plus features a 7nm 5G SoC (MediaTek MT6853), which supports SA/NSA dual-mode network. Moreover, it supports seven 5G frequency bands at the same time. For the phone antennas, Huawei has also optimized the 10 antennas in an orderly manner. The Antenna Mode Boost antenna signal enhancement technology 2.0 ensures the signal when held by both hands.

There is a built-in 4200mAh battery, which supports 40W super-fast charging. According to Huawei’s data, it only takes half an hour to charge the machine from 2% to 70%.

The Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus sports a 48-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle/depth-of-field lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens that supports ultra-wide-angle, large-aperture blur, and macro shooting. In terms of video, the rear lens of the phone supports EIS video to ensure video stability.

Huawei Enjoy 20 Key Specs

Another smartphone, the Huawei Enjoy 20, focuses on 5G and long battery life. The phone has a built-in 5000mAh battery and has also been specially optimized for 5G to further improve battery life. According to Huawei’s data, the Enjoy 20 supports 23 hours of video playback, 20 hours of 5G Internet access, 126 hours of music playback, or 16 hours of game play after being fully charged.

On the front, it hosts a 6.6-inch 1600 x 720 resolution screen, which supports low blue light eye protection. Also, the power button integrates the fingerprint recognition module. In terms of core hardware, it doesn’t differ from the previous model.

The rear three camera sensors have a 13MP resolution, a 5MP resolution (120-degree wide-angle lens), and 2MP resolution (depth of field lens). The front AI camera has an 8MP resolution. And the machine also retains 3.5mm headphone jack.

Both phones are compatible with EMUI 10.1 system. The system optimizes the underlying functions of multiple systems such as kernel scheduling, storage IO, and network transmission. While ensuring the smooth operation of smartphones, it also undertakes Huawei’s ‘1+8+N’ full-scene ecological strategy.

Price and Availability

The Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus 6+128GB version costs 2,299 yuan ($336), and the 8+128GB version is at 2,499 yuan ($365). The Huawei Enjoy 20 4+128GB version comes at 1,699 yuan ($248), and the 6+128GB version is at 1,899 yuan ($278). The two new products are already available for pre-sale. They will start shipping on September 10.
