The LG K92 5G is a mid-range device launched today in the US. I have been talking about mid-range 5G smartphones in my recent posts. Earlier, the OnePlus N10 5G was unveiled and today we got some information on Motorola Moto G 5G. Now, it’s time for us to see what the LG K92 5G offers.
LG K92 5G Specifications
The LG K92 5G comes with a 6.7-inch huge IPS LCD Panel. The display has a resolution of FHD+. Although, LG’s mid-range offering doesn’t have a higher refresh rate. The smartphone comes with a quad-camera setup comprising of a 64-megapixel primary, 5-megapixel ultra-wide, 2-megapixel depth, and finally a 2-megapixel macro sensor. They have gone with a common camera setup at this price range. LED flash is given importance on the K92 smartphone as it features a quad-LED flash setup.
On the front, there is a dot hole notch as seen on the Galaxy smartphones. The notch houses 16-megapixel for selfies. The smartphone is powered up by the Snapdragon 690 chipset. Snapdragon 690 supports sub-6 5G networks and is becoming popular among OEMs. We have already seen it on the OnePlus N10 5G. The smartphone has 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
Battery – Not so impressive
One thing which I found a little messed up was the battery. The LG K92 5G sports a 4,000mAH battery. With such a huge display of 6.7-inch plus the battery-hungry 5G, it is not the best battery phone. Although, the company has provided us with Quick Charge 4, which will help the device charge up a little faster. On the software side, you will get LG’s custom UI on top of Android 10.

It is not a familiar design at-all. There is a two-tone rear side, where the top-most houses the camera setup and the LED flash, and the other side is neat. It is not the best looking phone but I like how this mid-range phone has a design of its own. Another notable feature of the LG K92 includes the Stereo Speakers. Expect some audio quality from the LG’s mid-range phone, thanks to the LG 3D Sound Engine.
LG K92 5G Price
LG K92 5G comes at a suggested starting price tag of $359 in the US. You can grab the phone starting from November 6th. The smartphone has a single color option that is Titan Gray. You will be able to grab the phone from three carriers.
AT&T: At $394.99, you will be able to get the 5G smartphone. You can choose eligible trade-in or $5/month offers for this smartphone. You may get the phone online or physically from the stores starting on November 6.
Cricket: Priced at $359.99, you also get the 5G capabilities thanks to the $60 Unlimited plan by Cricket. The smartphone will also be available from November 6th.
US Cellular: Near customers will be able to grab the phone for free by $350 in bill credits. Whereas, the existing customers will be able to grab the phone at $150 after $200 is completed in bill credits. The phone will be available from November 19th.
