Galaxy Note duo gets One UI 3.0 beta update in South Korea!
The all-new beta update carries the firmware version N976NKSU1ZTK6 in the company’s homeland. Apart from bringing the new software and Android 11, the firmware update also packs in the latest November 2020 Android security patch. While the beta program is now live, the Note 10 Plus has already started receiving the update. If you reside in South Korea and own Note 10, then you can also apply for the One UI 3.0 Beta program. To do that, you need to head over to Samsung Members app and tap on the suitable banner. You can then see the Apply button tapping it will mark your entry.
Soon after, you will be able to download the update via the Software Update option in Settings. In most of the cases, users don’t get update notification for beta software. This means you will need to check manually after a while. Before you go ahead and dive deep into the world of Android 11, it is worth mentioning that One UI 3.0 beta might bring some critical bugs to the table. That’s very much expected considering we’re looking at a beta release. If you don’t mind encountering these critical bugs, then you can go ahead and install the update. Of course, with each new beta rollout, Samsung will try to fix the critical and most reported bugs.
More countries and devices to soon follow the suit
After South Korea, Samsung will open up public beta testing in other major markets as well such as India, Germany, and the US. Apart from markets, Samsung also has few more devices in the pipeline for its One UI 3.0 beta update. The announced list consists of the latest foldable devices and the Galaxy S10 trio.
