Honor will be launching the Honor 50 series this month. It is known that within the new line there will be three models, where, in addition to the base model, Honor 50 Pro and Honor 50 SE will be presented. GSMArena has published a photo of the Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro. The focus is on the main camera, which has three sensors. The main sensor is located in the upper circle, and two more – in the lower one. The LED flash is out of the two circles.
It is noteworthy that none of the smartphones will receive a periscope sensor. The difference between Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro will be that the first will receive a key sensor of 50 megapixels with an aperture of f/1.8, while the “proshka” has a resolution of 108 megapixels with the same aperture.
Recall that the Honor 50 family will be presented on June 16 and it is known for sure that at least one of the devices will receive a 6nm Snapdragon 778G chip. It is expected that smartphones will be equipped with OLED-displays with increased hertz and fast charging, whose power in the basic version of the series will be 66 W will be increased to 100 W.

Honor has announced the date of the announcement of the Honor 50 series of smartphones. The new items will be officially unveiled on June 16 at an event in Shanghai, China. The company also posted a teaser video of the Honor 50 on the social network Weibo. It doesn’t detail the specs of the new smartphones, but gives an idea of the design of the dual-ring camera.
The company previously confirmed that the Honor 50 series will feature smartphones with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G octa-core chip. It is expected that they will be the Honor 50; while the Honor 50 Pro, according to the Master Lu benchmark, will receive the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset.
The rest of the Honor 50 Pro specs listed in the benchmark database include a 6.79-inch AMOLED QHD + screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB UFS 3.1 flash and a 4400mAh battery with wired support. 66W charging and 50W wireless charging.
The smartphone has a dual front camera (32 + 8 MP) and a quad rear camera with a main 50-megapixel sensor, as well as a 13-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, an 8-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens and a 3D ToF sensor for obtaining information about the depth of the scene.
