TSMC

According to reports from the semiconductor industry chain, TSMC will solve the car chip shortage soon. The report claims that the Taiwanese chipmaker will solve most of the car chip orders in the third quarter of this year. The company plans to deliver a lot of automotive chips this year.Ā In addition, automotive chip suppliers have also notified customers that the arrival of chips in the second half of the year will increase by 30%. This means that the time of delivery of the final product will significantly reduce. It will be much lower than the initialĀ 50 weeks.

According to reports, TSMCā€™s Arizona plant has begun relevant recruitment, The response towards the recruitment has been very massive. The company is accepting applications from job seekers forĀ 17 positions. So far, the Taiwanese foundry has received 13,166 job applications.

However, the receipt of more than 13,000 job applications does not mean that more than 13,000 people have submitted job applications. This is because some job seekers have applied for multiple positions at the same time.

At the end of last year, TSMC Chairman Liu Deyin said in an interview that they will send more than 300 employees to assist the Arizona factory to start operations, and will recruit another 300 graduates and engineers with many years of work experience.Ā It is still unclear whether the 17 types of positions being recruited are the 300 people that Liu Deyin revealed last year that they will recruit. If they are, it means that the competition for job seekers will be very fierce and the success rate will be very low.
