According to reports, Samsungās upcoming Galaxy Z Fold3 will support the S Pen stylus. Now an FCC document officially mentions that the device will be compatible with the S Pen Pro.Ā The S Pen Pro stylus was released with the Galaxy S21 Ultra, but it has not been listed. However, it appears that this device will launch with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3. The S Pen Pro supports a Bluetooth LE connection. This means that this stylus will support Air Actions which is not available in the previous S Pen models.
The FCC file shows that the S Pen Pro is compatible with Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3. In addition, it will also be compatible with the Galaxy S21 Ultra, Note20 duo, Note10 Lite, Tab S7 series, and Tab S6. However, it appears that another upcoming foldable phone, Galaxy Z FLip3 will not support the S Pen. It is not on the list of compatible devices.

The S Pen Pro itself will be charged via USB-C and has a 100 mAh battery with a rated voltage of 5.0V. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 may also support reverse wireless charging of the stylus, similar to the way the Galaxy Tab series works. This foldable phone may not have a dedicated S Pen slot. According to a poster ofĀ Samsung’s mid-year Galaxy Unpacked conference, Samsung will release a series of new products. The company will launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphones, and Galaxy Watch 4 on August 11.
The speculations so far reveal that Samsung will reduce the size of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 display. Reports claim that it will come with a 7.5-inch display, a 0.1-inch reduction from the previous generation which has a 7.6-inch display. Furthermore, the body size of the entire phone will also reduce accordingly.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3/Flip 3 price leaks
Samsungās upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 foldable phones price leaks in South Korea. According to the report, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 phone will start at 1,200,000 won ($1,044). However, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 will start fromĀ 1,900,000 won ($1,652). The current pricing confirms that Samsung will reduce the price of the latest foldable smartphones.
For reference, the Samsung Galaxy Flip2 starts atĀ 1,650,000 won ($1,435) while the Galaxy Z Fold 2 starts at 2,398,000 won ($2,085).
In addition, Samsung will actively encourage customers to upgrade to new foldable devices with the old trade-in method. Thus, the previous generation of Galaxy Z Fold/Flip phones will receive the greatest discount.
