OPPO A16 smartphone with HD+ screen and 5000 mAh battery presented

The Chinese company OPPO has announced a low-cost smartphone – OPPO A16 running ColorOS 11.1 operating system based on Android 11.

The device is based on the MediaTek Helio G35 platform. The processor integrates eight Cortex-A53 computing cores with a clock speed of up to 2.3 GHz and the IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

The display measures 6.5 inches diagonally and has an HD + resolution (720 × 1600 pixels). Panel refresh rate is 60 Hz; It provides 71% coverage of the NTSC color space.

The front camera can take 8MP shots. There is a triple camera at the back with a 13MP main sensor and a pair of sensors with 2 megapixels.

The smartphone’s specs include 3 GB of RAM, a 32 GB flash drive, a Bluetooth 5.0 controller, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. Power is provided by a 5000 mAh rechargeable battery. The device measures 163.8 x 75.6 x 8.4mm and weighs 190g.

The OPPO A16 smartphone will be available for an estimated price of $ 140.

It is worth mentioning that Oppo has four main smartphone lineups, the A series which is intended for entry-level smartphones, the F and the Reno lineups of mid-range smartphones and the Find X lineup of flagship smartphones. However, the company may launch a new lineup soon for foldable smartphones.

Oppo Reno6 Z 5G smartphone completely declassified before the announcement

On July 21, Oppo has scheduled the announcement of the mid-range smartphone Reno6 Z 5G. However, the YouTube channel Vy Vo Xuan has already published a video (see below) of the unboxing of this smartphone, revealing its main features.

The device is equipped with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display and Full HD + resolution. A fingerprint scanner is integrated directly into the screen area. In the upper left corner of the panel, there is a small hole for a selfie camera based on a 32MP sensor.

The basis is the MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor. The chip contains eight cores clocked at up to 2.4 GHz, an ARM Mali-G57 MC3 graphics accelerator and a 5G modem.

A triple main camera is available at the back. It contains a 64-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel unit with wide-angle optics and a 2-megapixel macromodule.

The device carries onboard up to 8 GB of RAM; and a flash drive with a capacity of up to 256 GB. Power is provided by a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 4310 mAh. The smartphone is running the ColorOS 11 operating system based on Android 11.
