Yesterday, Honor officially released the Magic3 series and this put an end to all the rumors and speculations. This series has three models which includes the Magic3, Honor Magic3 Pro, and Magic3 Ultimate Edition (Magic3 Pro+). These devices are currently on pre-sale but the first official sales will take place at 10:08 on August 20.
According to information from the Jingdong platform, the appointments (reservations) for this smartphone currently exceeds 818,000. This figure is for the Honor Magic3 Pro alsone. Considering that there is still one week before the official release, the final number of appointments may easily exceed one million.
The Honor Magic3 Pro comes with a 6.76-inch super curved OLED screen. This display supports a 120Hz high refresh rate as well as 1920Hz PWM dimming. The curve on the sides of the display is as high as 89-degree and this display supports a smart refresh rate. This means that the refresh rate automatically adjusts to meet the need of the usage scenario. With regards to other specification, this flagship smartphone supports LinkTurbo X, OS Turbo X engine, 3D face recognition, dual speakers, car-level navigation 2.0, IP68 dustproof and waterproof, etc. In terms of price, the 8GB + 256GB version sells for 5999 yuan ($926) while the 12GB + 512GB model is selling for 6,799 yuan ($1,049).
