There are still companies that bet on this particular segment, but each one comes to offers a particular software experience over Android to compensate Google’s OS lackluster experience on tablets. After a break for a few years, Xiaomi has decided to finally return to the segment of tablets. There are a couple of reasons that can justfiy this return, and we can say that the recent demand for home schooll and home work in light of COVID-19 pandemic probably is one of the reasons. Earlier this week, the company introduced the Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro in China. The new tablets come with interesting features and compeling hardware. According to reports from the supply chain, the company may be preparing the global debut of this lineup for September.
According to the leaked info, the Mi Pad 5 will hit Europe as soon as in the next month. Unfortunately, there is still no specific date, but that may emerge in the coming weeks. Xiaomi will likely prepare a long teaser campaign to build the hype of global customers for these particular devices. After all, reports suggests that the company is having a hard time with the Snapdraogn 888+ stocks due to the crisis in the semiconductor industry.
