Apple’s recent September event saw the launch of the iPhone 13 series along with the Apple Watch Series 7, 9th gen iPad and the latest iPad Mini.
Today, the iPhone 13 series, consisting of the iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will be up for pre-orders in India and other regions.
For those who missed it, the iPhone 13 one-ups the iPhone 12 by offering several new improvements, a faster A15 Bionic chipset and a new camera module design. The devices will be up for pre-orders via the official online store and other e-commerce sites, along with retail outlets.
Sales for the iPhone 13 series start Friday, September 24. Apple’s distributor Ingram Macro will offer the new models in around 3,200 locations, while its other distributor, Redington will ship the models to 3,500 locations. Amazon and Flipkart will also take pre-orders today.
Apple iPhone 13 Series: Pricing, Offers
The iPhone 13 Mini with 128GB of storage retails for Rs 69,900 in India. The 256GB model for the iPhone 13 Mini will retail for Rs 79,900, while the higher end 512GB variant will retail for Rs 99,900. Moving to the iPhone 13, it starts for Rs 79,900 for the 128GB variant, while the 256GB and 512GB variant retail for Rs 89,900 and Rs 1,09,900, respectively.
The Pro models on the other hand are rather expensive, with the iPhone 13 Pro retailing for Rs 1,19,900, Rs 1,29,9000 and Rs 1,49,900 for the 128GB, 256GB and 512GB variant. The iPhone 13 Pro Max has four models, 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and a whopping 1TB variant, retailing for Rs 1,29,900, Rs 1,39,900, Rs 1,59,900 and Rs 1,79,900.
When it comes to the pre-order offers, buyers looking to pre-order an iPhone 13 or 13 Mini via an Apple Authorised Dealer or Distributor can use their HDFC card for a cashback of Rs 6,000, while the 13 Pro and Pro Max get cashbacks of Rs 5,000.
Several retail outlets present across the country are also set to offer an additional exchange discount of around Rs 3,000 for an exchange of an old iPhone model in favour of the iPhone 13 series.
The Apple online store will offer trade-in values of up to Rs 46,120 for users trading in their iPhone 8 and later for the new iPhone 13 series. EMI options are also present.
In other iPhone 13 related news, according to the latest test on GeekBench, the iPhone 13 Pro metal score hit 14,216. This is an increase of 55% relative to the 9123 scores of the iPhone 12 Pro. Judging from the GeekBench image, this picture shows that the GPU of the iPhone 13 Pro should run separately.
