Samsung has finally launched the Galaxy M52 5G handset in India. This new mid-ranger from the South Korean giant is the third 5G device to launch under the M-series of devices.

The previous M-series handsets to come with 5G support include the M32 5G and the M42 5G, both of which are also mid-range offerings from the brand.

The latest of these devices comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G SoC, a chipset present on the Galaxy A52s 5G. Here’s everything you need to know about the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G, from the pricing and availability to the specifications of the latest offering from the popular smartphone brand.

Samsung Galaxy M52 5G: Pricing and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G in India is available in two variants, with the first one offering 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which retails for Rs 26,999.

The other variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage is available for Rs 28,999 during the Great Indian Festival on Amazon, but post the sale, it will retail for Rs 31,999, whilst the base variant will be hiked to Rs 29,999.

During this initial period, as part of the introductory offers, Prime customers of Amazon can get a discount of Rs 1,000 on the purchase of the device on top of any additional bank offers. No-cost EMI and exchange offers are also available for the device.

The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G will be available in two hues, namely Icy Blue and Blazing Black and will go on sale starting October 3 via Samsung India’s e-store and Amazon India.

What Does the Device Have to Offer?

The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G makes use of a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of FHD+ and an Infinity-O notch to the top, which houses the front shooter. This display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection against accidental drops and scrapes.

Performance-wise, the device relies on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC with Adreno’s 642L GPU, with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. A 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging powers the device.

Towards the rear of the device, there is a triple-rear camera setup with a primary 64MP shooter coupled with a 12MP ultra-wide shooter and a 5MP depth sensor. Selfies are reliant on the 32MP front shooter.

Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, 5G SA/NSA, WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS. The device boots One UI 3.1 on top of Android 11 out of the box.
