A recently surfaced teaser video has given us a glimpse of the Oppo K9s smartphone’s awe-inspiring design. Just ahead of its official unveiling Oppo has shared a promotional video of the K9s on its official Weibo account. . The popular Chinese brand will be unveiling the smartphone today, October 20 in its home market. Aside from its outward appearance being revealed, the latest K9-series smartphone has been subject to several leaks in the past.
Earlier this week, Oppo released a poster that suggests the K9s 5G smartphone will pack a robust 5000mAh battery. Aside from that, the poster revealed the handset will offer 30W VOOC flash charging support. The Oppo K9s is an upgraded version of the K9. However, the former offers a relatively slower charging speed than its predecessor. The original K9 smartphone packs a 4300mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
Oppo K9s Design Revealed
The promotional video featuring the Oppo K9s reveals the design of the smartphone. Moreover, it showcases all three color options of the K9s. The video shows the Neon Silver Sea, Obsidian Warrior, and Magic Purple Quicksand color options. On top of that, the video implies that the smartphone will deliver a refresh rate of 120Hz. Also, it reveals that the phone will house a triple rear camera setup.
Morever, the video shows a SIM slot and the volume buttons on the left edge of the smartphone. The right edge accommodates the power button embedded with the fingerprint scanner. According to a report from 91mobiles, this suggests the Oppo K9s will sport an IPS LCD display. The speaker grill, USB Type C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack have been placed at the bottom.
Although Oppo has confirmed that the K9s will launch on October 20, the company has refrained from revealing the full specifications of the smartphone. Nevertheless, earlier reports suggest that the phone will pack a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC under the hood. Furthermore, the device will probably sport a 6.59 inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a 120hz refresh rate. The phone will reportedly draw its juices from a 5,000mah battery that supports 30W VOOC Flash Charging.
It will run Android 11 out of the box with Color OS atop. On the photography front, the K9s will feature a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor at the back.
