Xiaomi held an event in China yesterday where it announced the Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro +. It seems that these models will still go beyond China and the first country where they can appear will be India. The release itself may take a few weeks, information on smartphones was available in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
The Redmi Note 11 family will soon expand outside of China
The model numbers of Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro + for the Chinese market are 21091116AC, 21091116C and 21091116UC respectively. Indian versions of these models were spotted in the BIS agency.
21091116AI is the Indian version of Note 11. It was spotted on BIS back in August. Its global version with model number 2019111AG was discovered around the same time by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). The EEC listing showed that Redmi Note 11 could come under the POCO brand. It could probably be the POCO M4 Pro 5G, which will launch on November 9th. As a reminder, Redmi Note 10 5G has been rebranded as Poco M3 Pro 5G in the global and Indian markets. Therefore, it is likely that the POCO M4 Pro 5G will be the result of the Redmi Note 11 rebranding.
The Indian variants of the Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro + received model numbers 21091116I and 21091116UI. These models have also appeared on BIS, indicating that a launch in India may not be far off. As a reminder, the Note 11 Pro and Pro + came with identical specs, such as a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD + 120Hz display, a Dimensity 920 chip, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and a 16MP selfie camera. and a triple rear, where the main sensor is 108 megapixels. The Redmi Note 11 Pro has a 5160mAh battery with 67W fast charging, while the Pro + offers a 4500mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
