Regrettably, the 12.9-inch version of the iPad Pro isn’t compatible with the old Magic Keyboard because it is 0.5mm thicker. However, the 11-inch iPad Pro 2021 supports the old Magic Keyboard. Now, Apple has filed a new patent for a strong, yet flexible Magic Keyboard. In other words, the company could be gearing up to change the floating design of the current generation Magic Keyboard. Aside from that, the new patent application includes an iPad Pro case.
