The new budget smartphone contender will come with a 6.58-inch IPS LCD screen with a Full HD+ resolution of 2,408 x 1,080 pixels. The phone will pack a 90 Hz refresh rate and sport a 90.6 per cent screen-to-body ratio.

Moving around to the back, the handset has a triple-camera setup. As reported earlier, the device will have a 50 MP primary camera. It will be joined by a 2 MP macro camera and a 2 MP depth sensor. As we can see, only the primary camera is useful in this package. For selfies and video calls, the handset will sport an 8 MP camera.

What Else Do We Know About the Handset?

Vivo Y21T

Under the hood, the Vivo V21T will pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC. This chipset is relatively new and is one of the few 6 nm chips that Qualcomm offers with just 4G connectivity. It succeeds the Snapdragon the 678 SoC that has disappeared from the market amidst the chipset crisis.

The chipset will be paired with up to 4 GB of RAM. According to reports, Vivo will bring its extended RAM feature to give an extra 1 GB of Internal Storage from the 128 GB Storage. You can also expand the storage amount with a micro SD card.

The Vivo Y21T draws its powers from a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 18 W fast-charging. In terms of software, the phone will run Android 11-based Funtouch OS 12 straight out of the box.

That’s a shame that we’re still seeing smartphones coming with Android 11. Moving on, the device will measure 164.26 x 76.08 x 8mm and weigh about 182 grams. It will come with a USB Type-C port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
