South Korean smartphone giant Samsung is known for its special edition smartphones, be it in collaboration with some movie franchise, or with a popular luxury brand, the company has done it all.
Now, the smartphone giant has released a new smartphone commemorating the Beijing Winter Olympics, which are about to take place in the coming months.
Samsung has announced the new Galaxy Z Flip 3 Olympic Commemorative Edition, with GSMArena reporting the same first. The device features identical specs and hardware to the standard Z Flip 3.

The only differences are in terms of design, with the Z Flip 3 Olympic Commemorative Edition available in a Winter Dream White hue with a gold frame and hinge, as well as a black cover screen.
There is also an Olympic logo on the rear of the device, along with custom wallpapers, icons and cover screen clocks in relation to the Olympics.
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 Olympic Commemorative Edition is going to be available in China for 7,999 yuan (around $1,259) for the lone 8GB+256GB variant.

For those unaware, the device boasts a 6.7-inch display that supports 2640 x 1080 pixels (FHD +) resolution and refreshes rates up to 120 Hz.

A 3300 mAh battery with support for 15 W wired charging, 10 W wireless charging and 4.5 W reverse wireless charging is responsible for autonomy. To replenish energy, a USB Type-C interface is provided.
On the other hand, the company also focuses on the increased durability of the new product. The Flip 3 is IPX8 waterproof and has a reinforced aluminum frame. In addition, a new protective film and an improved structure of the glass of the main screen are used in the design.
