A Redmi K50 series smartphone has passed through important certification websites including TENAA, Geekbench, and 3C ahead of launch. The Chinese tech company unveiled the Xiaomi 12 series smartphones not too long ago. Now, signs are indicating that the company is prepping for an imminent launch of the Redmi K50 lineup. In a bid to build more hype, Redmi’s General Manager Lu Weibing shared the Redmi K50 series’ first teaser.

Redmi K50 Pro Spotted On TENAA, Geekbench & 3C

A new Redmi smartphone carrying model number 21121210C has made an appearance on TENAA, Geekbench, and 3C certification websites. The phone packs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC under the hood. Aside from that, it offers 120W charging support. According to MySmartPrice, these specs suggest that the recently spotted handset could be the Redmi K50 Pro. Furthermore, the Geekbench listing reveals that the phone will be powered by an octa-core processor codenamed taro. This processor will have 1 + 3 + 4 core configuration, coupled with a peak clock frequency of 3.0GHz. In other words, the Redmi 21121210C could pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor under the hood. What Else To Expect?

Aside from that, the Redmi 21121210C bagged the important 3C certification recently. The 3C listing hints at 120W fast charging support. Moreover, the Geekbench listing hints at the availability of 12GB of RAM. It also implies that the phone will come running Android 12 OS. The charging capabilities and the processor powering up the Redmi 21121210C indicate that the device could launch as the much-awaited Redmi K50 Pro.

Redmi K50 series

The Redmi K40 Pro and Redmi K40 Pro+ were the only phones launched in the K40 series last year to pack Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 888 processor. Likewise, the Redmi K30 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom were the only handsets launched under the K30 series with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. Redmi released a teaser (via BGR) earlier this week confirming the imminent launch of a phone with a 4,700mAh battery and 120W fast charging support.

In other words, the Redmi K50 Pro is likely to draw its juices from a 4,700mAh battery. The word on the street is that Xiaomi will be launching several devices under its well-received Redmi K50 series in the coming days.
