Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Getting MIUI 13 Update

Earlier this week, Xiaomi began pushing out the MIUI 13 stable version update to the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and 5 Pro tablets. This is the second device in the Xiaomi lineup after the Mi 12 that is getting the new system update. It adds many features, such as the interconnection between Xiaomi mobile phones and tablets. Thus, the Xiaomi tablets now can more smoothly interchange data with Xiaomi phones.

Mi Pad 5 getting MIUI 13 stable version

The MIUI 13 system also updated the system fonts. The new MiSans is visually clearer and more comfortable to read. Also, it optimizes the horizontal screen adaptation effect of 3000 commonly used applications. It adds a verification code transfer function. Now, the mobile phone receives the verification code and pastes it directly on the tablet. In addition, the photos taken by the mobile phone can be automatically streamed to the tablet to display.

MIUI 13 also brings a free window function to the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 series. You can open a small window by calling out the taskbar and dragging an icon in the application.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 Receiving Its Own Portion Of MIUI 13 Update

Apart from the Xiaomi tablet, today, we learned that the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 is getting the MIUI 13 update, and it is not an internal beta user. This version is MIUI13 13.0.2.0.SKMCNXM stable version and it is about 4.9GB in size.

Prior to this, we learned that the MIUI 13 stable version ought to come around the end of January 2022. The first batch includes the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 11, Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro 5G, Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro, and Xiaomi Mi Pad 5.

As you see, the Mi MIX 4 wasn’t among them. Anyway, it’s getting its portion of the update.

The first batch:

Redmi MAX 86-inch large-screen TV is expected to be getting it around the end of January 2022;

The Redmi MAX 98-inch smart TV is expected to be receiving it in late March 2022.

The second batch:

The Xiaomi Mi TV ES75 2022, Mi TV ES65 2022, Mi TV ES55 2022, Redmi Smart TV X75 2022, Redmi Smart TV X65 2022, Redmi Smart TV X55 2022, are expected to be updated in late April 2022.
