The Redmi K50 Pro smartphone’s official-looking render and case has surfaced online, giving us a glimpse of the phone’s possible design. The hotly-anticipated Redmi K50 Pro has been subject to a lot of leaks lately. Moreover, Xiaomi’s popular sub-brand has already divulged details about the next K-series smartphones’ launch in China. The K-series is Redmi’s latest flagship offering. To recall, Redmi brought the K40 series into the Chinese market last year.

A couple of K40 series went official in India under the Mi 11X lineup. Likewise, the Poco F3 GT was launched in the country with the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition moniker. Now, the K50 series is slated to launch in China next month. Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed some key specifications of its upcoming flagship series. In the meantime, the Redmi K50 Pro phone’s design renders have popped up on the internet.

Xiaomi Redmi K50 Pro Leaked Design Render & Case

The word on the street is that the Redmi K50 Pro will be more powerful than the vanilla model, but will be slightly less potent than the highest-end K50 Pro+ model.

The phone’s recently leaked case renders showcase its awe-inspiring design. Upfront, it shows a hole-punch display that houses a cutout at the top center. According to a report by XiaomiUI, the phone will sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixel) resolution. Furthermore, it will deliver a high refresh rate of 120Hz and feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

What Else To Expect

The rear panel has a rectangular camera module that accommodates three cameras. MySmartPrice claims that the rear-mounted camera setup houses a 64MP Sony IMX686 main camera, a 13MP OV13B10 ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP GC02M1 camera. Alternatively, the third sensor could also be an 8MP OV08A10 macro camera. Moreover, the phone packs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC under the hood. This does not align with an earlier report that indicated the phone will come with a Snapdragon 898 chip instead.

Furthermore, the right edge of the smartphone features the power and volume buttons. Likewise, the bottom edge accommodates the USB Type-C port. Xiaomi has already revealed that the K50 series will draw its juices from a 4700mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. Lastly, the phone is likely to run MIUI 13 based Android 12 OS out of the box. It will ship with 12GB of RAM and offer a hearty 256GB of onboard storage capacity.
