Motorola will reportedly bring the Moto Edge 30 Pro into the global market later this month. The Moto Edge 30 Pro is a rebranded version of the Moto Edge X30, which went official in China in December. Moreover, the Moto Edge X30 was the first smartphone to pack Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.

Before its rumored launch, the Moto Edge 30 Pro smartphone’s renders have surfaced online. These renders have been shared by 91mobiles in collaboration with some industry sources. First off, the leaked renders corroborate earlier speculations that the Moto Edge 30 Pro is simply a rebranded Moto Edge X30. If the recently surfaced Moto Edge 30 Pro smartphone’s renders are anything to go by, the upcoming Motorola phone will feature a centrally aligned punch-hole notch. Moreover, the rear panel will house a protruding camera island, with three cameras and an LED flash. The right edge will accommodate the phone’s volume button. Aside from that, the renders confirm the handset will be available in Blue and Grey color options.

While Motorola is still mum on the Moto Edge 30 Pro launch date and other details, an earlier report claims that the Moto Edge 30 Pro will launch in India and globally in February 2022. This piece of information comes from noted leaker Mukul Sharma. If this speculation is anything to go by, the Lenovo-owned company could be on the verge of unveiling the Moto Edge 30 Pro in multiple regions, including India.

Moto Edge X30 Specifications & Features

Given that the Moto Edge 30 Pro is a rebrand, it is likely to come with similar specifications as the Moto Edge X30 China model. The Edge X30 sports a mammoth 6.7-inch POLED display with FHD+ (2400 × 1080 pixel) resolution. Aside from that, the 10-bit display panel delivers a refresh rate of 144Hz and 700nits peak brightness. Also, it is HDR10+ certified and features a punch-hole notch for the front shooter. Under the hood, the phone packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.

Furthermore, the aforesaid processor is paired with a competent Adreno 730 GPU. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 uses Samsung’s 4nm process and comes with a merged X65 5G modem. For optics, the phone has three rear-mounted cameras. Moreover, this camera island comprises a 50MP main camera with OIS support. Aside from that, it has a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP depth lens. Furthermore, the phone has a 60MP front shooter for capturing selfies and video calling.

Moreover, the Edge X30 draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W fast-charging. The phone boots MyUI 3.0-based Android 12 OS.
